It's already December, which means it's advent calendar season. That's why I curated for you a roundup of awesome advent calendars for designers and developers. In browser news, we get the November monthly updates about the web platform, Chrome 108, and Safari TP 159. On the release radar, we have Electron 22, Neutralinojs v4.9, and the TypeScript 5.0 Iteration Plan. We're wrapping up this issue with a handful of resources (icons, AI-generated images, and some utilities).

The 2022 Roundup of Coding Advent Calendars

Welcome to the third yearly roundup of advent calendars. There's something for everyone out there: lots of great articles, video presentations, coding challenges, and a lot more.

Browser news

Want to know what changes happened to the web platform in November, but you don't want to browse through countless articles? Then you need to check Rachel Andrew's synopsis on this topic.

Chrome

Chrome 108 rolled out right at the end of November. The most important feature, in my opinion, is the support for dynamic viewport size units. Developers now receive hints about why CSS declarations are not active (something I loved having in Firefox already). For more details, you should explore the release notes linked below:

WebKit

Safari Technology Preview 159 is now available with updates to WebAssembly, JavaScript, and Rendering.
